JigSpace secures VC funding from Investible, Breakthrough Victoria and others, following Australian launch of the Apple Vision Pro

Spatial computing demonstration platform, JigSpace, has recently closed its latest funding round with participation from Investible via our Early Stage Fund 1 and the Club Investible syndicate.

Co-founded by Numa Bertron and Zac Duff in 2017, JigSpace is used to create immersive product demonstrations to help engineers, sales teams and trainers ‘bring to life’ complex, static computer-aided 3D designs for their customers.

With the startup’s partnership with the Apple Vision Pro and the public launch of the product in early February 2024, JigSpace has garnered widespread brand awareness including praise from Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, as he spoke ahead of the Vision Pro's Australian launch last Friday.

To date, the app has been downloaded over 60,000 times, been viewed over 1.3k times (via pre-release devices) on the Vision Pro and received 30x more reviews on the App store than any other application. The partnership has also brought strong inbound pipeline momentum landing several big enterprise-wide contracts including with Emirates, Panasonic, PepsiCo, and Sauber Motorsport.

Led by Breakthrough Victoria, this funding round included participation from Investible via the Club Investible syndicate and Early Stage Fund 1 alongside several other global VCs. Our commitment in this latest funding round demonstrates our ongoing conviction in the company’s potential to become a market leader in the fast-growing spatial computing and augmented reality industry.

Investible has been an early supporter of JigSpace with our original Early Stage Fund 1 seed investment in 2019 and Series A investment in 2021, coupled with the continued backing from members of our syndicate, Club Investible, participating across multiple investment rounds (see our announcement of our 2023 follow-on investment).

Club Investible member and APAC software executive, Jason Stirling, has also been actively working with the startup to refine its sales strategy and has seen firsthand the product’s consistent growth and customer success. “JigSpace has established themselves at the global forefront of spatial computing, having earned endorsements from Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, and a growing list of leading enterprises as customers. Zac, Numa and the team are actively bringing the emerging market of human computer interaction to life. As this market continues to grow, the potential for rapid revenue growth is huge and JigSpace has both the tech and commercialisation foundations in place to lead this market. The beauty of being part of Investible is getting these opportunities, early,” he remarked.

JigSpace's partnership with the Alfa Romeo F1 team has helped them close multi-million-dollar deals.

Riding tailwinds of their Apple Vision Pro partnership, JigSpace plans to use this additional capital to accelerate its product development roadmap, including refining the platform’s use as a collaboration tool and integration with other AI components. The funds will also be used to double down on JigSpace’s growing sales team in the US as part of the company’s ambition for global expansion.

Importantly, JigSpace is platform and OS (operating system) agnostic, functional within both the Apple and Android ecosystems. While the Apple Vision Pro is a key driver of recent growth, the team remains focused on diversified potential in a fast-evolving spatial computing market.

We’re excited to back JigSpace as it continues to make AR a global reality.
