Welcome to the portfolio, ZeroJet!

Hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, the ambitious maritime innovator ZeroJet enables a critical step change in the electrification of the boating and shipping industry with the development of a custom jet propulsion system.

Under the leadership of co-founders Bex Rempel and Neil Mans, the startup has developed an environmentally friendly and quiet propulsion system: more efficient, more practical and more fun than traditional propeller-based units.

The Investible Climate Tech Fund participated in ZeroJet’s Series A round alongside a strong and specialised group of investors including Movac and the NZX-listed Booster Innovation Fund.

⚡ Electric vehicle innovator Applied EV cap off a pre-IPO raise at $150m valuation.

🌿  Mosaic Solutions just closed a seed funding round of US$5 million led by Kickstart Ventures, Gentree Fund and a follow-on funding from Club Investible.

🏅 Zac Duff and Numa Bertran of JigSpace, plus Dr. Andrew Horsley and Dr. Marcus Doherty of Quantum Brilliance featured in the list of Australian Business Review’s Top 100 Innovators.

What else we’re up to

This month, we’re excited to welcome three new team members to the Investible crew. Get to know Amy Huang (Chief of Staff), Marie Garcia (Reporting Analyst), and Harry Steer (Content and Community Associate) in these short profiles.

Investible’s Elisa-Marie Dumas is mentoring in The Big Leap Incubator Program. This program is a collaboration between Arrow Digital and LaTrobe University to take tech-led Australian migrants with a start up in-hand to test out their strategies in hot technology markets like India.

Climate Tech Analyst Ben Lindsay spoke on the Wholesale Investor Venture & Capital panel alongside other industry mainstays about DeepTech, trends at the moment, and the venture capital market’s appetite for investment in our current macroeconomic context.

Two of our investment team, Joanna Ng and Jayden Basha, will be mentoring founders of women-led and women-focused startups in the World’s Largest Startup Competition for Women and Technology, run by She Loves Tech!
